David Stevens teaches saxophone, clarinet, and flute (woodwinds) as well as music theory and chamber music. With 20 years of teaching experience, he currently resides and teaches in Dedham and Norfolk County.

David is on faculty at Gordon College, Powers Music School, and All Newton Music School.

As an in-demand instructor of group and private lessons and courses, David has created a studio of diverse musicians ages 8 to nearly 80, who's interests span classical to jazz, improvisation to composition, music theory, woodwind doubling, and chamber music or rock band.

Students of David Stevens Music will have the opportunity to perform with other students, join biannual recitals, and develop goals tailored to each students' interests and ambitions. David's teaching style is centered on adaptable to each student's learning style and passions, balancing hard work with fun, and sharing the importance of music's impact on the whole self.
